Lieutenant Commander Steven Baldovsky, U.S. Coast Guard, is a career Coast Guard cutterman and currently serves as commanding officer of the USCGC Isaac Mayo (WPC-1112). His previous afloat tours include weapons officer of the USCGC Midgett (WHEC-726); executive officer of the USCGC Wrangell (WPB-1332), forward deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; commanding officer of the USCGC Blackfin (WPB-87317), and operations officer of the Midgett. He also has served in the executive office of the President’s Office of Science and Technology Policy.
