Colonel Sean Mulvaney, Medical Corps, U.S. Army (Retired), entered the Navy in 1987 and served as a SEAL officer for nine years before attending medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He became an Army physician in 2000 and served as the battalion and brigade surgeon with several Army Special Operations units. He has specialties in sports medicine and pain medicine. He retired from the military after 31 years in 2018 and currently is in private medical practice in Annapolis, Maryland.
