Mike served for six years in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam era and is an internationally recognized historian and author. He’s published five narrative nonfiction books covering naval, military, and aviation history. Mike has contributed to U.S. Naval Institute’s Naval History magazine and appeared on the History Channel’s Man Moment and Machine.
