Executive Staff
April Parreco leads the planning and management of conferences and special events at the U.S. Naval Institute. The annual conferences and events at the Naval Institute provide a platform to discuss timely sea power and national defense issues with our members and supporters, military, government, thought leaders and the general public in an independent and non-partisan public setting.
Prior to joining the team at the U.S. Naval Institute, April worked at the Smithsonian National Postal Museum as the Director of External Affairs where she oversaw and led fundraising, membership and special events.
April is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University with degrees in International Relations and Spanish.
