Captain Taylor has served in a variety of operational and technical assignments in the Coast Guard and joint community, including command ashore of the Coast Guard Communications Command. He holds three master of science degrees in electrical engineering, governmental information leadership, and joint campaign planning and strategy. He is the second Coast Guard officer to qualify for the U.S. Navy information warfare officer designator.
