Lieutenant Tom Wester, U.S. Navy, is a surface warfare officer stationed in San Diego, California. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he holds a master’s degree from Stanford University, where he focused on national security and technology policy. He is a plank owner and served as a project manager for the space portfolio at the Defense Innovation Unit, where he led projects focusing on the use of commercial data sources for broad-scale maritime domain awareness.
