Lieutenant Colonel Cuomo is assigned to the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Previously, he was the commanding officer of 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion and also commander, Task Group (CTG) 6X.2. CTG 6X.2 is an experimental unit focused on achieving the 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps’ naval integration and reconnaissance/counterreconnaissance intent.
