Colonel Hill is a PhD student at Vanderbilt University and was formerly a military professor at the Naval War College. He is a command pilot with more than 2,600 hours in attack aircraft. He has served as an A-10 and A-29 instructor and evaluator pilot, as the lead operational planner in the J35 Division of U.S. Forces Korea, and as commander of the 81st Fighter Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.
