Senior Chief Officer Thomas enlisted in the Navy in July 1994 and retired in 2021 after 27 years of faithful service. His duty assignments included the USS Stump (DD-978), USNS Concord (T-AFS-5), USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71), Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, and Carrier Strike Group 12. He currently resides in Hampton, Virginia.
