Paul Cavallo is a retired importer of Italian wine and olive oil who served with the U.S. Air Force Strategic Air Command (nuclear missile guidance and flight control) during the Vietnam War. He has always had a keen interest in the politics of military affairs and has published letters and essays on these topics over the years. His son served as a front-line Marine in "The Gulf War," conducting night reconnaissance before the war began.
