Master Chief Murphy is a former Serbo-Croatian language analyst on board the EA-3B Skywarrior and was a mission supervisor on board EP-3E aircraft throughout the 1990s. He also served as the personal interpreter to NATO Implementation Force Commander Admiral Leighton Smith immediately following the cessation of hostilities in Bosnia and supported the CIA’s Balkan Operations Group during Operation Allied Force.
