Lieutenant Commander Kingsland is an engineering duty officer interning with naval reactors at Newport News Shipbuilding. She previously served as the work integration leader on board the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78), production assistant at Supervisor of Ships Newport News, financial and industrial program manager on the N43 Staff at U.S. Fleet Forces Command, class team leader and project officer at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, an operational test director at Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation, and as a surface warfare officer on board the USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) and Sampson (DDG-102).
