Lieutenant (junior grade) Hobbs is an aspiring Coast Guard aviator and a product of the College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative (CSPI) program. He graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt with Bachelor of Science degrees in environmental resources engineering and chemistry. Following Officer Candidate School, he reported to USCG Sector Mobile’s Law Enforcement Division. He currently attends Naval Flight Training in pursuit of his “Wings of Gold.”
