Colonel Murray graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1995 with a bachelor’s of science degree in aerospace engineering. He has served in many operational and staff roles throughout his career as an F/A-18 pilot, UAS pilot, forward air controller, air officer, and squadron commander. Colonel Murray holds a master’s degree in national security and economic policy with a focus in robotics and autonomous systems and currently serves as the Director of Science and Technology and the Rapid Capability Office, Marine Corps Fighting Lab.
