LT French graduated with a degree in naval architecture from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2016, where he was the Drum & Bugle Corps Commander. He was stationed on board the USS California (SSN-781) from 2018 to 2021, serving as the ship’s electrical officer, assistant weapons officer, and diving officer. He currently is stationed at Tulane Navy ROTC as an assistant professor of naval science.
