Graduated from the Naval Academy in the Class of 1921, Captain Jamison was Planning Officer and Beachmaster for the Casablanca Landing in 1942, was in charge of amphibious training of General MacArthur’s troops in 1943 and 1944, and Head of the Amphibious Section, Army-Navy Staff College, in 1945. Since March, 1950, he has been Director, Fleet Operational Readiness.
