Dr. Bjerg is a Danish naval historian. He has been the Naval Historian of the Royal Danish Navy for many years and taught at the Naval Academy in Copenhagen as a lecturer in naval history. He was an editor of the Danish Naval Journal from 2002 to 2019. Dr. Bjerg has published many books and articles about naval affairs and has been a frequent participant in the Naval History Symposium at the U.S. Naval Academy.
