Eric Grove is a freelance naval historian and defense analyst working in London. He was formerly Deputy Head of Strategic Studies at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, and is now Naval Research Director of the Foundation for International Security, Research Fellow at the Mountbatten Centre at Southampton University, and Visiting Lecturer at both the Royal Naval College Greenwich and Cambridge University.
