A graduate of North Dakota State College and the U.S.N.R. Midshipman School at Columbia University, Lieutenant Commander Lewis served in the USS O’Reilly (DE-330) during World War II. In the Korean War, he took part in the Inchon Landing and the Hungnam evacuation. In 1952-54 he was PIO, Potomac River Naval Command and from 1954-57, PIO, DESLANT. At present he is Director of Public Relations, SACLANT.
