Midshipman Anspach attends UNC-Chapel Hill where he is working on a dual major in Peace, War, and Defense and in Chinese language, while participating in the university's NROTC program as a Marine-option midshipman. He has particular interest in urbanization trends and East Asia. He aims to become a naval aviator following commissioning into the Marine Corps in the spring of 2022.
