Captain Varsogea is the executive assistant to the Chief of Navy Chaplains. He served for ten years in the reserve component, and in the active component has served on board the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70), with the Recruit Training Regiment at Marine Corps Depot San Diego, and as Deputy Division Chaplain for First Marine Division. He has twice served on the staff of the Chief of Navy Chaplains and once on the staff of the British Royal Navy’s Chaplain of the Fleet.
