1. The hull number SSN-21 and the name Seawolf have not been officially as^*- of writing. The term SSN-21 stands for “submarine of the 21st century.” The

DDG-52 was originally named John Barry. The name was changed to Barry (
1988. It reverted to John Barry on 9 May 1989, but once again reverted to Bt1^ Dec. 1989. /
Though classified as AGS's, these ships are in reality Coastal Survey Ships (A°^ will operate as such.
The construction contract with Pennsylvania Shipbuilding, Chester, PA, of and T-AO-192, were cancelled on 31 August 1989. The hull of T-AO-192 was % dally launched on 22 July 1989 and both ships were towed to Philadelphia yard in October 1989 for layup. Contract for completion of the two ships was re^ as indicated.
