Lieutenant Leonard is presently assigned to U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Houston, Texas. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in History and served as an infantry officer in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) prior to joining the Coast Guard. He holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Technology from Murray State University.
