Graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in the Class of 1940, Captain Heimark served in the Washington and in the destroyers Earle, Callaghan, and McKean during World War II. He is a graduate of the Naval Intelligence School and was commanding officer of the Stoddard (DD-566), 1955-57, and Intelligence Officer, Staff, ComPhibPac, 1957-58. At present Captain Heimark is U. S. Naval Attaché for Mexico and Central America.
