Captain Keith Larson, U.S. Navy (Retired), was a surface warfare officer who accumulated more than 19 years of sea duty during his 32-year career. He held multiple commands in both the cruiser-destroyer and amphibious forces. He was the commissioning executive officer of the USS Wasp (LHD-1) with then-Captain Picotte, who was the commissioning CO.
