I just recieved my copy of Wilburs "Galloping Ghost of the China Coast". This print captures the triumph of the moment, one can feel the energy coursing from the print. I am impressed that it is signed by the artist, even more so that it was signed by Admiral Fluckey. A wonderful addition to my collection. Highly recommended.

I purchased this print several years ago. This past weekend I attended a sub vets meeting. I took this print with me and asked WWII sub vets if they would like to sign it. Everyone of them didn't hesitate. One of the signers served with Admiral Fluckey on the Barb. He couldn't get over it and said, "thats it the Galloping Ghost", and wanted to know were I got it. Needless to say he signed his name right next to his Commanders. After that he began telling me of his experiences on the Barb and with the Commander. If you have any contact with the artist, tell him he accomplished his goal and received the ultimate approval from all vets present.
