A graduate of the U. S. Military Academy, Lieutenant Colonel Kintner holds a doctor’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University. Serving in the European Theater during World War II, he subsequently was assigned to the Intelligence Division, War Department General Staff. Since 1948 he has been a member of the faculty of the Command and General Staff College, lie has had numerous articles published in military journals.
