Captain Tunick commanded Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadrons 44 and 40. He gained space experience completing tours at USSpaceCom and NRO. He also served as Head, Maritime Requirements, in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations. He currently is a Navy civilian and serves as co-chair of the Naval NRO Coordination Group.
