Walter R. Borneman

Walter R. Borneman is the author of The Admirals: Nimitz, Halsey, Leahy, and King (2012), which won the Samuel Eliot Morison Award for Naval Literature, and MacArthur At War (2016), a finalist for the Gilder Lehrman Prize for Military History. His most recent book is Brothers Down: Pearl Harbor and the Fate of the Many Brothers Aboard the USS Arizona (2019). All three are published by Little, Brown and Company.
