Midshipman McGill is a member of the U.S. Naval Academy class of 2021 and is studying computer engineering. He enlisted in 2013 and served as a navigation electronics technician on board the USS Columbia (SSN-771) before receiving his appointment to the Naval Academy. He has received surface warfare as his service assignment.
