Captain Todd Hiller, U.S. Navy Reserve, is commanding officer of the Office of Naval Research, Global Science & Technology unit, in Arlington, VA. In his civilian capacity he works for the Maritime Administration as a defense liaison officer with the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J4) representing the strategic sealift recapitalization initiative. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard unlimited tonnage license, a U.S. Navy commission, a bachelor of engineering in naval architecture from the State University of New York at Ft. Schuyler Maritime College, and a master’s in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.
