Lieutenant Commander Smallidge is an active-duty Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychologist currently serving as the Director of Research and Assessment at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command. She has previously served: as the Staff Research Psychologist/Instructor at the Naval Leadership and Ethics Center; an operational analyst deployed to Afghanistan; on the flag staff at Naval Service Training Command; and as a department head at the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory. She holds a doctorate in I/O psychology, a master’s of business administration, and a master’s of social work.
