Ms. LaShomb is the principal assistant program manager of the Deployable Surveillance Systems for the Navy’s Maritime Surveillance Systems (MSS) Program Office. She began her 35-year career as a research engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, filling various modeling and simulation, at-sea testing, analysis, and operational prototyping capacities, including the NavSea technical warrant holder for Undersea Distributed Sensor Systems.
