Mr. Kurak has been a civilian employee of the Navy in the field of inventory management and logistics since his graduation from the University of Minnesota in 1951. For more than ten years, he was an inventory manager of major shipboard hull, mechanical, and electrical equipment for the Bureau of Ships. He then became Assistant Branch Head of the Inventory Management Branch of the Technical Materiel Division of the Bureau of Naval Weapons.
