Major Sutherland is the intelligence officer for the 22d Marine Expeditionary Unit. Previous assignments include 1st and 2d Radio Battalion, the Cyber National Mission Force, and the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit. He is a graduate of Marine Corps Command and Staff and Expeditionary Warfare Schools and the National Intelligence University.
