Commander Rolando Machado Jr. is a native of Hialeah, Florida and a 2009 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. A career surface warfare officer, his afloat time has been spent onboard cruisers and destroyers. He is currently pursuing a master’s in strategic studies at Marine Corps War College in Quantico, Virginia, after completing his most recent tour in July 2024 as MCM Requirements Manager within Expeditionary Warfare Division (N95) at the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) staff.
