Vice Admiral Gaucher is the Commander, U.S. Submarine Forces, and Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic. A 1991 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he commanded the USS City of Corpus Christi (SSN-705), Submarine Development Squadron Five, and Submarine Group Nine/Commander, Task Group 114.3.
