Commander Granati, a response ashore officer specialized in maritime security and boat operations, is the Chief of Budget Appropriations Management at Coast Guard Headquarters. Recently graduated from the Naval War College, he previously has served as commanding officer of Maritime Safety and Security Team Los Angeles/Long Beach and as military assistant to the Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security.
