A combat historian both in Europe and Korea, Captain Blumenson received his B.S. and M.A. degrees from Bucknell University and another M.A. from Harvard. He is currently on extended active duty in the Department of the Army’s Office of Military History where he is engaged in writing Breakout and Pursuit, a volume to appear in the U. S. Army in World War II Series.
