Lieutenant Roland is a naval aviator stationed in San Diego, California, where she works as an air certifying officer at Afloat Training Group. During her last tour, she deployed to 5th Fleet and 7th Fleet, participated in numerous joint exercises, was qualified as a helicopter aircraft commander, ACTC Level 3 mission commander, assistant NATOPS instructor, and functional check pilot, and served on the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Committee and the Command Resilience Team. She has planned wardroom bonding events at each of her past commands.
