Lieutenant Escobar is currently serving on board the CNS Almirante Condell (FF-06) in Valparaiso, Chile. He served on board the CNS Esmeralda as midshipmen instructor and the icebreaker CNS Oscar Viel, completing several tours to Antarctica. As an artillery and missiles specialist, he served on the frigate CNS Capitan Prat as fire-control officer and the USS Lake Erie (CG-70) as assistant navigator while on a Personnel Exchange Program tour.
