Lieutenant Commander Smith is a branch chief in the Environment Architecture Division at the Joint Staff, J-7, in Suffolk, VA. He was commissioned from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2004. He has a bachelor’s degree in history and an MPS degree in Homeland Security from Pennsylvania State University.
