A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy in 1935, Commander Hack served successively in the U.S.S. Maryland, U.S.S. Lawrence, and four different submarines. He has been Coordinator of Submarine Training for Commander Submarine Force in the San Francisco Bay Area, and a post graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Currently he is the Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Sierra (AD-18).
