Mr. Brandli, as an Air Force captain, was a weather satellite special projects captain in Vietnam. nosed in 1971 with multiple sclerosis, he was assigned to the Air Force Eastern Test Range and Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where he taught and set up one of the most sophisticated meteorological satellite systems in support of worldwide space programs. He retired from the service in 1976. Today, he works as a consultant for several companies and writes and lectures extensively.
