Mr. Chamberland, a safety specialist at Kennedy Space Center, is a former naval officer, having served at Pacific Fleet headquarters from 1978-80. He received his bachelor’s degree in the physical sciences and his master’s in environmental engineering from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Chamberland is a frequent contributor to Proceedings.
