Lieutenant Commander Dave “DB” Barnhill, U.S. Navy, is a Seahawk weapons and tactics instructor with more than 2,200 hours of flight time in the SH-60F/HH-60H/MH-60S airframes. He was a department head for HSC-23, the only hybrid MH-60S and MQ-8B squadron with deployment experience, before moving to Monterey, California, where he is a student at the Naval Postgraduate School.
