Lieutenant Whitsett graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2013. While assigned to HSC-23, he deployed as part of the first joint MQ-8B/LCS deployment in April 2017. He is currently stationed at VX-1, where he works on the MQ-8C and MQ-4C operational test teams.
