Commander Hannah is the commanding officer of the Pacific Strike Team. His active duty Coast Guard career spans 21 years conducting marine environmental protection, commercial vessel compliance, contingency planning, law enforcement and search & rescue. He holds a Master of Science in environmental management from the University of Maryland–University College, a Master of Public Health in industrial hygiene from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Arts in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.
