CAPT Taddiken, originally from Tacoma, Washington, graduated with merit from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1996 with a bachelor of science degree in systems engineering. He earned a master’s degree in national security and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a master’s in engineering management from Old Dominion University, a Diploma de Mestre em Ciências Navais from the Brazilian Naval War College, and a master's in business administration from the Federal University of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. He is currently serving as the IUSS Commodore at Commander Undersea Surveillance.
