Major Schwartz, an armor officer, is a student at the College of Naval Command and Staff at the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island. He previously was chief of certification at the Maneuver Captains Career Course, Fort Moore, Georgia, and has served in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. He has trained extensively in both maneuvering armor formations and planning tactical operations and holds a bachelor of science degree from the Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College.
